Prof. Abhinay Muthoo

Professor Abhinay Muthoo is a professor of Economics at Warwick University. He is also the Dean of Warwick in London and the Co-Director of the Warwick Policy Lab. In addition Muthoo is also the author of the renowned book ‘Bargaining Theory with Applications’. Abhinay has published research papers in many top academic journals including in the Review of Economic Studies, Journal Economic Theory, and The Economic Journal.

Jennifer Mbaluto

Jennifer Mbaluto is a Partner in the London Corporate practice of Clifford Chance. Mbaluto also co-heads the firm’s East Africa Practice and work that encompassess a broad range of cross-border M&A transactions. She also co-heads a cluster of the Africa CEO Forum’s Women in Business Network and is a Trustee on the Board of AMREF Health Africa UK, the UK affiliate of Africa’s leading health charity.

Houssam El Hak Morssi Barakat

Houssam is the CEO of BMCE Bank International. BMCE Bank International is a leading international bank specialising in African investment. They connect international institutions and investors with a diverse portfolio of investment opportunities on the continent. It is a member of the group BMCE, which is a large commercial bank in Morocco operating over 697 branches in Morocco alone and 560 branches in the rest of the african continent. BMCE has offices in France, Spain, United Kingdom, China, Italy, Germany, UAE, Belgium, Canada and Netherlands.

Paul Kaba Thieba

Paul Kaba Thieba is the former Prime Minister of Burkina Faso. Mr Thieba also has an extensive background as an economist and working for the West African Central bank, BCEAO, in Ivory Coast.

He is currently the Senior Project and empowerment officer at McDaan a financial service regulated by the FCA that centered it focuses on investment across Africa.
Sidi is an entrepreneur who founder investME SL (the organizers of the Seedstars world competition freetown, with Seedstars world being the largest competition for startup tech in the world ) where he also serve as the lead strategist.
Sidi is a Youth ambassador in Sierra Leone and is listed at 100 most influential youth in Sierra Leone the Federation of patriotic child advocacy network through the Ministry of Youth and the National youth communion.

Collins Onuegbu

Collins Onuegbu is a thought leader with thirty years of experience in the African technology and business landscape. He is also the founder of Signal Alliance in 1996, an established tech company aiming to build software, applications and infrastructure systems for large Nigerian enterprises.

Kofo Akinkugbe

Kofo Akinkugbe is the founder and CEO of SecureID Nigeria Ltd, a market leader in smart card technology and digital security. The company is a world-class manufacturing facility with the only smart card production plant in West Africa and is one of only six on the continent. She is recognised globally for being an entrepreneurial success story and for her strong business track record.

Ben Ngwamah

Beni has a proven leadership and entrepreneurial track record with over 3 years of financial experience at Barclays Investment Bank. A multi-award-winning entrepreneur “Beni has been featured as amongst The Top 10 Best Black Student in the UK”. Beni is passionate about diaspora driven development in Africa as well as the role of disruptive technology in combatting poverty.

Femi Oke

Femi Oke is a British television presenter, senior host and Journalist at Al Jazeera. Based at the CNN Center in Atlanta when CNN's Africa coverage was sparse, she helped devise, launch and develop the network's award-winning African affairs programme "Inside Africa". Femi has been recognised by The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Communications Agency with the presentations of the ‘African Achievers Award 2007’. Femi currently hosts ‘The Stream’, an interactive current affairs programme for Al Jazeera English.

Bamai Namata

Bamai Namata is the founder of Maibeta Inc., a digital on-demand services platform to match private and institutional customers to prescreened service professionals and technicians for jobs in the maintenance, repair and construction industry. He received the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme award in 2016 and Avance Media's Cameroon's most influential in business award in 2017.

Hon. Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey

Hon. Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey is a Ghanaian politician and lawyer, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and a Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency. She has been adjudged outstanding woman in Public service in Africa at the 2nd Africa Public Sector Conference and Awards (APSCA).

Hon. Irene Naa Torshie Addo-Lartey

Bibi-Bakare Yusuf is co-founder and publishing director of one of Africa’s leading publishing houses, Cassava Republic Press and the co-founder of Tapestry Consulting, a boutique research and training company focused on gender, sexuality and transformational issues in Nigeria. She has won several awards for her disruptive work in publishing, including one by the International Excellence Awards 2018 in conjunction with The Publishers Association in London for Inclusivity in Publishing and the Brittle Papers African Literary Person of the Year.

He is the Founder and CEO of Renewables in Africa (RiA) which is a Clean Energy Engineering Consultancy Providing; Direct Clean Energy Opportunities Investments for Investors and Technical Partners, Market Insights and Business Intelligence to Investors and Technical and Financial Advice to Project Developers in Emerging markets. He is also a regular contributor as a renewable energy and technology expert.

Wunmi Ogunde

CEO and co-founder of Ecoprune Africa. With over seven years of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry, Wunmi is the CEO and co-founder of Ecoprune Africa, a social enterprise firm tackling waste pollution through recycling. She is also the founder of EMR consult an environment and manufacturing consultancy agency and the Editor and publisher of “ECO-DIGEST an environmental/sustainability magazine. She worked as a research analyst with the Materials sustainability department in WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) in 2011 where she focused on plastic packaging and recycling of poly waste materials.
